When to Visit Artvin
There is no single answer to "the best season" in Artvin; it depends on what you are after.
Spring
Snowmelt raises the streams and the forest turns deep green. This is when the green is at its most vivid. Rain is likely — bring something waterproof.
Summer
The season when people escape the heat of the coast and head inland. The highlands are open and the days are long. It is also when the hotel's open-air restaurant is at its best.
Autumn
The season photographers wait for. When the leaves turn, Karagöl gives all of that colour back to the water. October is the region's busiest month.
Winter
Silence and fog. No crowds, and the forest becomes another place entirely. Mountain roads, however, can be harder going depending on conditions.
Pera Boutique Hotel is open all year — whichever season brings you, our door is open.
