9.28 km

Through the valleys of Artvin there are stone bridges that cross the water in a single arch. Because the flow beneath them changes dramatically with the seasons, they were built high and narrow, so that a flood passes under the arch rather than through it.

The stones were cut so precisely that most of these bridges stand without mortar, stone resting on stone. That they have held their position for centuries says how well the work was calculated.

Kemer Bridge is 9.28 kilometres from Pera Boutique Hotel — one of the closest stops on the Karagöl road, and easily combined with the lake in a single day.
